50 years of our Law Centres, 50 years of access to justice

For half a century, we have stood with our communities, demonstrating the the need and belief that everyone, regardless of income, deserves access to legal advice and representation. Formed in 1974, we’ve grown and evolved over 50 years, with a strong commitment to serving the six boroughs with dedication. 

Despite the challenges of the last decade, particularly in regard to changes in legislation which have made it increasingly difficult for those on low incomes to access legal support, we’ve remained resolute in our mission. You can read our 2022-23 Impact Report here.
