Emergency advice and representation at court on the day of your hearing
To obtain free legal advice and representation on the date of your hearing you should:
- Attend court at least 45 minutes before your hearing and make yourself known to the court usher
- Ask the usher to direct you to the duty adviser
- Bring to court all relevant papers to your case
- Please ensure you are wearing your face covering or you may not be seen by the duty adviser
The duty scheme can provide you with advice as to the steps you can take to stop your eviction and represent you at court. Duty advice/representation is only available to you on the day your possession case is listed.
